Elijah Edwards from Cana, VA, caught this 9 lb. 11 oz. 26 inch citation trout at the Crooked Creek Fee Area near Woodlawn.
A special stocking event is taking place at the Crooked Creek Fee Fishing Area in Carroll County June 17, 19, 21, & 22, 2019. Over 400 trophy-sized brook, brown and rainbow trout will be stocked over the course of the event.
A daily permit ($8.00) is required of anglers in addition to a valid Virginia freshwater fishing license; however, children 12 and under may fish without a permit as long as they are accompanied by a permitted adult and their combined creel does not exceed that of the adult (6 trout).
