In this report, we’re on the hunt for a unique genetic strain of walleye found no where else in the world but the New River system. Alex McCrickard, Aquatic Education Coordinator, teams up with DWR walleye guru, Sgt. Wes Billings, to learn the “ins and outs” of how to target this strain of walleye in late Summer on Virginia’s Claytor Lake.
