Considering a career in conservation?
The Department of Wildlife Resources’ internship program is a great way to get a realistic view of what a career in conservation involves. DWR’s internships provide college students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in Wildlife, Fisheries, Communications, Law Enforcement, Human Resources, and Administration.
DWR values individuals with a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and culture and is committed to having a diverse workforce. Our internship program supports these values. As part of the internship positions listed below, interns will also be given networking and leadership development opportunities with DWR staff and other interns.
In order to be eligible for an internship, students must:
- Be currently enrolled as a rising junior or above in an accredited college or university or be a recent graduate within the last year
- Have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.8 or higher
See internship descriptions at the application links for full requirements, job descriptions, and qualifications. Applicants must apply online. Late submissions will not be accepted.
