Culvert Replacement Project to Begin at Lake Shenandoah
Harrisonburg, VA — The Virginia Department Wildlife Resources (DWR) will be temporarily closing Lake Shenandoah Boat Ramp and North Lake Perimeter Trail from February 1, 2021 – March 15, 2021. This closing will allow for the replacement of a failing culvert along the north lake perimeter trail and access road improvements from the parking area to the dam and auxiliary spillway.
Throughout the construction process, the boat landing will be closed to the public for launch and retrieving. This work is taking place during the off season to lessen the impact on the public, allowing for the facility to open and be operational just in time for the spring 2021 fishing season.
