Road Closure at Clinch Mountain Fee Fishing Area and Laurel Bed Lake
Richmond, VA — The Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) will be gating Tumbling Creek Road in Clinch Mountain Wildlife Management Area (WMA) at the foot of the mountain May 13–17 to complete urgent road repairs. This will prevent vehicles from accessing the higher elevations of Clinch Mountain WMA and Fee Fishing Area as well as Laurel Bed Lake. To accommodate this closure DWR will be modifying the Fee Area stocking schedule as follows:
- Monday, May 13 — Sections A & B
- Wednesday, May 15 — Section A
- Friday, May 17 — Sections A & B
- Saturday, May 18 — Sections C & D
