This year DWR is celebrating a new partnership with Watkins Duck Calls LLC. Brian Watkins has lived on the Chesapeake Bay his whole life and has been making duck calls since he was a teenager. DWR is proud to partner with this dedicated craftsman for the first ever, DWR branded duck call. This call is completely hand made in Poquoson, Virginia on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and would be a beautiful gift for any waterfowl enthusiast.

Purchases made in the DWR online store and choosing to “round up” purchases at gooutdoorsvirginia.com support the Virginia Wildlife Grant Program which in partnership with the Wildlife Foundation of Virginia provides funding to organizations with a common mission of connecting people to the outdoors. Thanks to the generosity of DWR constituents, a total of $150,000 was awarded to 10 Virginia organizations during the 2024 grant period.
