Public Boating Access: Rexrena

The Rexrena access is a one-half acre site located at the confluence of Copper Creek and the Clinch River in Scott County. The site can be accessed from Copper Creek Rd off US Route 23 between Gate City and Duffield. Allowed activities include launching and retrieving kayaks and canoes, fishing and wildlife viewing. The property is approximately 2.5 miles downstream from the DWR access point at Clinchport and 9.5 miles upstream of the DWR access site at the Tennessee state line. The location at the mouth of Copper Creek makes this a prime fishing location for a variety of species including smallmouth bass, walleye and sauger.
