Description
Hemlock Overlook Regional Park offers miles of trails as well as a fully equipped Outdoor Education Center and environmental education programs managed by Virginia Outside. Watch for a variety of woodpeckers and forest songbirds as well as an assortment of shade butterflies and damselflies, such as the powdered dancer. During spring migration keep an eye out for a variety of warbler species that may be passing through.

From the exit at the upper parking lot for Bull Run Marina, cross Old Yates Ford Road and drive onto Kinchloe Road (a partially paved road). Proceed north to Yates Ford Road, and go west (left) 1.4 miles to Hemlock Overlook Regional Park.
